Duckhole Lake is a flooded sinkhole that is part of the surrounding cave and karst landscape. Enjoy an easy stroll to relax beside the idyllic lake and enjoy a picnic lunch.

The walk is approximately 4.2km's return and walkers should allow at least 1-hour return for this trip.

Graded as a Level 2 walk, this means the track is an easy walk and suitable for most fitness levels and all age groups.

Walkers should ensure they have sturdy walking shoes or boots, sun hat, sun block, sunglasses and clothes to suit the weather.

Because there is water in the creeks and lake it is important that children are supervised at all times.

Dogs are permitted on the track if kept on a leash, however bicycles and firearms are prohibited.

Park entry fees DO NOT apply.

Facilities:
There is a picnic table at the lake. At Hastings Caves State Reserve (approximately 7.5km's from the Duckhole Lake car park) you will find toilets, a café, picnic and barbecue facilities plus a thermal swimming pool.

Vehicle Access:
South of Dover, the start of the walk can be reached from the turnoff along the Hastings Cave Road. After the Visitor Centre turn into Chestermans Road, which then leads to Coal Hill Road. Please note that these are single lane roads. The car park is located approximately 4km's from the Hastings Cave Road turnoff. Alternatively you can take the Darcy Link Road from the A6 at a junction 3.1km south of the Esperance River Bridge in the township of Strathblane and continue onto the Creekton Road.
